With the swing system, this is done by alternately lowering or tightening the pulling cables at half of the cultivation gutters towards the centrally positioned motor gearbox and winding shaft. In this system, the winding shaft runs in the direction of the gutter. With the high/low system, half of the cultivation gutters are alternately raised and the other half lowered with cables. When the cultivation gutters are hanging low, harvesting can take place at the optimum height. The high/low system is driven by worm gearboxes and high-speed geared motors that drive winding shafts mounted in a trellis direction.
